The Rivers State chapter of the FRIENDS OF ATIKU organization held its inaugural meeting and inauguration of the 23 Wards Executives on Monday the 7th of January 2019.
The event was ably represented by their various LGA Coordinators and their Secretaries at its head office in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
The organization, which is a strategic support group which has amongst its core objective, to support the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria by canvassing for support at the units and grassroot level for the successful victory of His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar during the forthcoming elections.
The event which was chaired by the state coordinator Barr Golden Tamuno and other EXCO members namely: Dr Kingsley Amadi (Deputy Coordinator), Hon Jude Nwibie (State Secretary), Amb Tom T Inko-Tariah (Director for Contact and Mobilization), Hon Chief Odum Azuibike (Director for Research and Strategy), Hon Chuks Umesi (Director for ICT), Mrs Ibiene Ogbowu (Woman Leader).
While carrying out the inauguration, the State Coordinator charged the LGA Coordinators to campaign vigorously for the party and vote for the PDP all the way from the President, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike, and all National and State Assembly candidates, all of the PDP.
