The State Commander of Operation Puff Adder, SP Chris Nwaogbo has been honoured with a security award for his efforts in curbing criminality in Bayelsa State by the winner of the just concluded Miss Nollywood Beauty Pageant and Nollywood Honour Awards 2021/2022.
The award ceremony which was organized by BK Global Entertainment Services was held two weeks ago in Yenagoa, the state capital.
It was reported that SP Nwaogbo who was absent during the award night was presented with the award in his office by the organizers.
Presenting the award to SP Nwaogbo, the newly crowned Miss Nollywood International 2021/2022, Miss Karina Simon, alongside other members of the organization described Nwaogbo as a competent officer.
They commended him for his tireless efforts in the fight against crime in the state.
In his comments, SP Nwaogbo, appreciated the organisers for the honour and added that although being honoured for one’s work is good, he said his services are for the good of humanity and to the glory of God.
The police commander also stated that he is determined to do the right thing always because that is what the Nigerian Police Force stands for.
He urged his colleagues in the force to follow his example and prove a point to Nigerians that the Nigerian Police force has good officers.
Those who were part of the entourage includes Mr Ayibanua Philip Boye who is the manager Nostalgea Cinema among others.
