Emerging Leaders Condemns #RevolutionNow Protest ….Calls on Federal Government to release Sowore.

The national Chairman of the Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria; His youthfulness, Hon. Godstime Chukwubuikem Samuel has frowned at the yet to be identified members of the western Countries sponsored group “Global Coalition for Security and Democracy in Nigeria” for the planned “revolution protest” today  Monday 5th August, 2019 with the aim of bringing “regime change” in Nigeria without recourse to provisions of the constitution of Nigeria.

Godstime said in a statement “The mobilization against the government called “Revolution now” with youths as major characters in the said protest is a serious dent on our supposed readiness to lead Nigeria as young leaders and also a stroke of reverse on to the country’s economy if the protest is allowed to see the light of the day. Therefore, the Emerging leaders Forum are not in support of any form of Revolution Protest which is capable of destabilizing the peace and unity of our country; Nigeria. We are using this medium to inform the general Public especially Nigerian youths to position their effort against the clueless protest mentioned above.

Nigerian youths are civilized and cannot be deluded and brainwashed with ideas capable of causing tension and distractions in our father land.

“We call on Nigerian Youths to at all times remain ready to enter into any civilized and decent discussion with anyone In the country for whatever intent and purpose without succumbing to temptations of exposing innocent lives to unnecessary danger ”, Godstime further opined.

“We commended the Nigerian Police for earlier warning Parents and Guardians to enjoin their wards not to allow themselves to be used in whatever form by any person or group of persons to cause breach of law and order in the country.

Finally, Hon. Godstime Called on Nigerian Youths to remain peaceful and stay away from activities that are contrary with the Nigerian laws and order.

Yes, our country is passing through trying times, our naira has lost its value in the economic community of nations and as future leaders of this nation, I want to encourage the federal government to inculcate more productive youths in diverse sectors of policy making to enable our nation come out of this glaring problems and meet up with other nations in terms of Education, Economic viability, Sports and tourism, Youth and infrastructural development, Hon. Godstime pleaded.

Hon. Godstime further stated that he expected the federal government to have called Mr. Sowore to order by a way of caution like they did to Nigerian Artiste; Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia in the past, when he tried to hold a similar demonstration and not arresting and detaining him. Therefore, we call for his immediate release if the federal government didn’t order for his arrest on the grounds of political differences.
