DELAY IN MARRIAGE by Dr. Lopsam

Girls at the age of 18-24 years always attracts serious men who are fully ready to get married, but at this age most of our girls/sisters never wish to hear anything about marriage…
You will hear them saying ” I am too young, who care about marriage .”….. But these girls will be having serious & series of sex relationship with small boys of their age , because at that age, they always have high rate of boys, guys and men coming for them, but they will prefer to choose those boys rather than the real men who want to marry them. They are still young to marry, but they are not young to have sex with boys.

At the age of 25-27 years , parents will start asking them the following questions;

How far ?

Don’t you have any one yet ?

Are you not planning to get married ?

Are you seeing that all your mates are getting married ?

Or don’t you know how old you are ?

But mind you, parents only see the outside of their daughters, not knowing that the inside is finished.
With all these questions by her own parents, she will now be thinking and asking her self some question like; “My mates are getting married.
Does it mean am old enough to marry ?

Hmmm, how should I go about it, when those of my boyfriends are not serious about asking my hand in marriage ? They are not even ready to marry yet.

Well, God knows the best I believe in God. See oooh…!, she has started putting her blame on God. “God’s time is the best” OK, I agree for argument sake.

But my sister, did you just mention God ? OK oooooh…

At the age of 27-30 years, they now start looking for men to marry not boys to have sex again . They will start looking for serious relationship that will lead to marriage, but unfortunately, at this age of 30 no men will be asking their hand in marriage. Even though they will see men, but those men will only want date from them not marriage…

Then you will see them forcing their self to marry a man who didn’t like to marry them. Hmm ! Na wow!
No single man at the age of 30-35 will like to marry a lady of 30-35 years . (are men mad ? Tell me if you were a man would you marry someone of that age ?)

Now you hear the sisters say age does not matter.
Sister it matters, yaa ! .

Remember you rejected men because you think you were too young. What makes you feel like your old age should not matter to us ? Yes we all prefer 20-25 years girls to marry and that is why you will see some men going back to their village to find young girl to marry when they see that those young girls in the city are not serious about marriage and those that are serious too old for them.

At the age of 30-35, if you ask her ” why are you not married yet by this age of yours ?
Is it not getting too late for you ?
You will hear her asking you some silly questions like… “Are you God? Or do you want to marry me ? Single at 30 or 35 is it a crime? Did I see who will marry me & I didn’t marry him? God knows the best pls”. OK, time is going.

At this age of 30-35 they will start praying like never before, moving from one church to another or if she is a Muslim, she will start praying night prayers, fasting and dressing modestly.

They will now be a fake serious type. Her name will now change from Lizy for sure to sister in Christ or hijab sisters or sisters in Islam. Keep changing your name, time is still going.

At this age if you ask her for dating you will hear her saying “My brother, am not like them. Am looking for husband not dating if truly you love me go and see my parents for marriage I can’t do anything without asking for my parents hands. Parents, please exercise, they have started knowing your worth. Remember the questions you were asking from the onset when she was between the age of 18-24.

When she was 18-24 years , she was doing everything without considering you as parents.

Ladies, do you even know that no man wants an old version again ? Everybody is looking for the latest version. You don’t expect a young man of 30yrs to marry you of 27_30yrs as his house wife when there are younger pretty girls out there. Fine even if he choose to ignore your age and marry you, his family and friends will discriminate you.
Ofcause no mother wants her son to marry sombody at that age. Tell me will you allow your own son to marry such an old lady of ur age?

Men that will be interested to marry you will be men of 45 years and above and mind you, those men have married with kids except you wanna be second or third wife and I know that GAMBIAN lady will not want to be second or third wife.

Everything in life has it own season and time… No lady that is looking for husband now that didn’t see who want to marry her when she was 18-24 yrs but by then, they are not serious because they are not looking for husband but they are looking for sex.

Let us assume you started having sex at the age of 16-20 and now you are 30yrs old, my sister can you count how many time you had sex? EVEN if you have never seen a man before, you are still less value compare to your younger sisters.

Well, let’s forget about that because I know you won’t like that part at all.
But let me tell you, everything is not about prayer. God who created you has made a plan for you but when you by yourself changed the plan or miss the road you will now be shouting God where are you…
When God is shouting my daughter where were you..? You are there doing Shakara, enjoying your life and taking men for granted.

Why do we have high rate of single mothers and single ladies nowadays? Does it mean no men again? You will see that the old are there not getting married why the young ones are getting married.

You as a elderly or senior sister never marry your younger or junior sisters are getting married…. You will now be asking God some stupid questions like ” God why me?

Your degree is ZERO without a man. Thousands of working class ladies are out there confirmed single. Don’t you notice men’s U-TURN?

They are no longer marrying working class ladies, please count the number of girls who you know got marry in the last 6 months? How many of them are working class ladies?
