David Lyon Decries Neglect Of Egbema-Anglabiri Community, Promises Development, Empowerment (video)

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC has decried the total neglect of Egbema-Angalabiri community in Ekeremor Loal Government Area, by successive governments despite its huge oil deposit that contributes greatly to the earnings of the state and federal government. 

Chief David Lyon, whose campaign train touched down in the community, yesterday, 25th October 2019, wondered why a community that has contributed immensely to the revenue earnings of the state and federal government has no basic amenity.

He pledges to change the current narrative when elected into office, by providing social amenities for the community as well as empower the women and youths. 

While at Peretorogbene community, the APC candidate was informed by the community that the only presence of government in the community dates back to the Chief Timipre Sylva era, as he was said to have provided them with the internal roads that they have.

In his response, David Lyon promises to continue from where Sylva stopped, promising to construct more internal roads for them as well as bring social amenities to the community. He promised to empower the youths and the women so they could live  a more productive life. A youth leader in the community, Preye Passman, lampooned the PDP government in the state for its gross negligence of his community and informed the APC candidate that the community has reached a decision to support and vote the APC in the November 16th Guber poll
