Have you ever wondered why Senator Ademola Adeleke aka ‘Dancing senator’ has disappeared from the the political scene after the Supreme Court ruling affirmed the election of Gov Gboyega Oyetola as governor of Osun State.
Adeleke was the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2018 governorship election in the state.
Perhaps the most significant factor used against Adeleke in the election was his educational status.
During his stint as a senator and governorship candidate of the PDP, Adeleke was tagged an illiterate , who forged his secondary school certificate to enable him contest elections.
The former senator has now gone back to school to acquire a higher qualification to enable him contest the governorship election again in 2022.
Adeleke is currently in America studding for a bachelor degree programme.
He began the university’s popular 2-year undergraduate programme in 2018. He expects to emerge with a Bachelor degree in 2020.
The former legislator said his return to school is part of his private life and declined to share what motivated him to return to the university.
