Current Numbers Of Elected Senators According To Political Parties

It is no trifling blow the supreme court judgement on the 2019 general election of Zamfara State dealt with the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The supreme court on Friday voided the votes of all the candidates of the APC in Zamfara State and awarded the party’s victory to the runners up, which is the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

The affected elected people are the governor, 3 senators, 7 House of Representatives Members and 24 House of Assembly members.

An aspect where the national APC will really be affected is reduction in the number of elected senators the party hitherto boast of, especially as the decision of who becomes the next senate president is still in limbo.
