NAIJA LIVE TV gathered that the protesters in Benin has broke into the prison in Benin sapele road and upper to free prisoners.

There has been a jailbreak at the correctional centre in Benin, Edo state, with a number of prisoners escaping from the facility.

A witness confirmed the incident to NAIJA LIVE TV.

There has been an outbreak of violence in the state following the #EndSARS protests.
