Mr John Idumange, the General Manager of the State own only Radio Station code name “Radio Bayelsa, Glory FM 97.1” has accused the commissioner for Information Hon. Daniel Markson Iworiso of the brain behind the burning down of the Radio station.
Mr Idumange who reacted for the first time since the Radio station was mysteriously burnt down at the earlier hour of Monday. He made his reactions through his official facebook page.
HE WROTE…..
“WHY THE COMMISSIONER IS A PRIME SUSPECT IN THE FIRE INCIDENT IN RADIO BAYELSA”
“In February, the Commissioner for Information set up a panel to investigate an incident that happened in the Transmission Hall. One Engr. Emmanuel Torubeli was indicted. He was sent on suspension”
“Just on the 16th of June, the Commissioner made a U-turn and directed that I should call him back. I followed the directive and
Engr. TorubelHe picked up his letter on the 18th of June, 2019. Not quite two weeks, the Radio Station is on fire. Was it a coincidence or does he have a hand in it? What pact does the Commissioner have with Engr.Torubeli?”
“The said Torubeli is the principal saboteur of the Transmitter in Radio Bayelsa and that was why in 2017, he was posted out of Engineering and we operated without hitches”
See the letter Torubeli signed for on the 18th of January 2019 to return to Radio Bayelsa. This was done in adherence to the directives of Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson.
“In this letter, I stated expressly that Engr.Emmanuel Torubeli should be deployed to the Department of Physical Infrastructure & Maintenance but as soon as the fire incident occured, the Commissioner called the same Torubeli to produce a quotation for a make-shift Broadcasting outfit in the caravan”
“Why is Mr. Daniel Iworiso-Markson so interested in a man his Committee recommended for indefinite suspension?” He submitted…
