BREAKING: Gov. Akeredolu defeats PDP’s candidate, Jegede to win re-election with over 99k votes

Rotimi Akeredolu has secured the highest number of votes in the Ondo governorship election.

Akeredolu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), polled a total of 292,839 votes while Eyitayo Jegede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 193,585 votes, leaving margin of 99,254.

Agboola Ajayi of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) came a distant third with 60,051 votes.
