….. Escew’s peace, unity and progress among party members.
The all progressives Congress (APC), Ekeremor local government area executives, ward chairmen and Ward secretaries held an expanded meeting with the Honourable member representing Ekeremor constituency ii, in the bayelsa state house of assembly, deputy minority leader, Hon. Wilson D. Ayakpo today in yenagoa.
While speaking, Hon Wilson stated that, “the various endorsements from some quarters are endorsements been sponsored by the former governor of the state, Hon Henry Seriake Dickson for his senatorial ambition”, noting that “it’s a clear indication that the APC remains the party to beat in the forthcoming bayelsa west senatorial by-election”.
“We all saw and witnessed the 16th November, 2019 governorship election victory recorded by the APC in Ekeremor local government area. It was a landslide victory. You people were the ones that worked for that landslide victory in our LGA, that is to tell you that our party APC is on ground. Any moment from now, the APC in bayelsa west senatorial district will win squarely in the forthcoming bayelsa west senatorial by-election.
He stated that, “Hon Henry Seriake Dickson is going to come at us with his money which is our money that was meant for the development of our dear state, so I will urge you to collect that money and continue to work for the victory of our party the APC, because it’s your right to also enjoy that money”.
He reiterated that, ” With their money in the last bayelsa state house of assembly elections in Ekeremor constituency ii, the Ekeremor people said no and stood firm with me till the end of the elections, still with their money, I won the election in landslide. The most important thing is that, we are Ekeremor people and by the special grace of God, the APC candidate will emerge winner of the forthcoming bayelsa west senatorial by-election. Even the zoning issue they are busy talking about is a PDP affair, the all progressives Congress (APC) is going to produce a better candidate from Ekeremor LGA that will surely come out victorious in landslide”.
He further stated that, “there’s no division within the APC in bayelsa state as it is been rumored and peddled by some mischief makers in the people’s democratic party, I stand to tell you that APC in the state has the best leader which is his Excellency Chief Timipre Sylva, and as he leads we will continue be loyal, faithful and follow him. We are one big family and will continue to remain in unity, peace and progress. Politics is all about the people, support base and number. We have the required people, support base and number in both Ekeremor LGA and sagbama LGA to win the forthcoming senatorial by-election in bayelsa west. The bottom line is, whoever emerges as candidate from our party, we should do well to queue behind that candidate and ensure the victory of our party the APC at the poles. So therefore let’s continue to promote peace, unity and progress within the APC at our various wards and join hands with the leader of the APC in bayelsa state, Chief Timipre Sylva to continue to strengthen the party in the state, south-south and the entire nation”.
Hon. Wilson further commended the LGA party working committee and Ward executives for their diligence, commitment and hard work in serving the party, that he will make sure that everyone will be carried along when his constituency projects and empowerment programs fully commence.
In Similar vein, the APC chairman Ekeremor local government area, Hon. Senator Mitin Eniekenemi stated by commending his Excellency Chief Timipre Timipre Marlin Sylva for being a leading light in bayelsa state and the South-south and for having genuine intentions to always promote peace, unity and progress within the APC in bayelsa state, south-south and the entire nation.
According to Senator Mitin, “we are here with our exceptional youth friendly visionary leader, Hon Wilson for one sole purpose which is to promote peace, unity and progress within the party. Hon Wilson from time has been bringing us together to always ensure that there is peace, unity and progress within the APC. He has been on top gear to always galvanize support for the APC to ensure that the party comes out victorious in the forthcoming senatorial by-election in bayelsa west”.
Senator Mitin further commended Hon. Wilson for being a true leader, faithful Chieftain of the APC and his sincere zeal to continue to foster peace and unity within party. He also expressed joy over the peace being enjoyed by the party in the LGA and the state, calling on all party faithfuls both aggrieved and members that are not aggrieved to please adhere to the spirit of peace and unity that our leader Hon. Wilson has injected in us to be permanent within us in the party. He also said, “let us continue to walk in line with the ideals of our leader, Hon. Wilson in promoting peace, unity and progress within the APC in Ekeremor LGA”.
The APC chairman reiterated that, “former governor Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson spent eight good years in Creek Haven without commissioning any meaningful project or infrastructure to appreciate the people of Ekeremor LGA and now, he is telling the ekeremor people that he wants to represent us again at the Senate which is not possible, assuring that APC will for sure come out victorious.
