The Bayelsa State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Pastor Monday Ndom has reemphasized the need for Stakeholders to synergy to ensure a hitch free Governorship polls in the 16th  November 2019 Election.

The INEC State REC made this call while playing host to Members of the Dise Ogbise (DO) foundation during a courtesy visit at his office in Yenagoa.

It is less than 150 days to the Bayelsa State Governorship Election with many political Fireworks already in top gear.

The History of political Killings and Electoral Violence on one part remains a huge concern for Stakeholders and Voters as the day draws near.

According to the Executive Secretary of the Foundation, the Group is willing to partner with the electoral umpire to take the message of peace to all voters and politicians across the State as they seek partnership to achieve this mandate.

Unveiling the steps to be taken by the commission to guarantee free,fair and conclusive election in the State, the REC Blamed the role if some politicians who fan the ambers of discord and vowed to work with all Stakeholders to change the narratives in the 2019 Governorship election in the State.

The REC also pointed fingers to the Judiciary for some political Judgements and urged the voters to participate by electing the candidates of their choose to promote democracy and Justice.
