Bayelsa Guber: Joshua Maciver urge Aspirants to shun Violence, Congratulates Sylva on Successful Screening ahead APC Primaries

Front-lline Governorship Aspirant and Leader of IzonTukpa Movement, Great Joshua Maciver, has urged all APC aspirants for the November Polls to shun all forms of acrimony within the party.

Speaking in Abuja on Friday, Great Joshua Maciver, who doubles as the Bayelsa Coordinator of the Tantita Security Services Limited, advised members of the party not to disrespect the Party’s leadership but to conduct themselves peacefully before, during and after the primaries.

The governorship aspirant noted that the exercise is a contest amongst family members with the same objectives and advised members to work to achieve that objective.

MacIver who is indigenously referred to as “Opuodusu,” equally congratulated the immediate past Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and leader of APC in Bayelsa State, H.E. Chief Timipre Sylva, on his successful screening and issuance of his certificate of clearance to contest in the Party’s primary elections for the 2023 Bayelsa state Governorship elections.

The leader of the Izon-Tukpa Movement said he was privileged to enjoy the benevolence of H.E. Chief Timipre Sylva, from 2007 to 2011 when he was Governor of Bayelsa state, and also during his tenure as a Federal Minister.
