Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has said that he is yet to make any political appointment into his government.

The Governor advised the public to disregard news making the round that he has made some political appointments in the state.

Governor Diri made this clarification during a meeting with the Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries at the Government House, Yenagoa on Wednesday.

Earlier yesterday evening. The. Bayelsa Social Media space was agog with congratulatory messages to both the SSG Konbowei Benson and Barr. George Turnah as Chief of Staff Government house.
