Arogbo Ijaw Youth Network, Northern youths Backs Tompolo’s Mult-billion Naira pipeline surveillance contract …As Tompolo Swing into Action

The Arogbo Ijaw Youth Network, has hailed the Federal Government for their recognition of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemukpolo aka TOMPOLO’s importance to drive peace, tranquility, unity and economic development of the Niger Delta area.

Also, the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has observed that Mr. Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, as a Nigerian, deserves contracts from the Federal Government to ensure the protection of pipelines.

NAIJA LIVE TV gathered that, Tompolo is set to swing into action to stop the illegal oil bunkering activities in the Niger Delta region.

The Arogbo Ijaw Youth Network group stated unequivocally that what is given to TOMPOLO is just a tiny fraction of proceeds coming out from Niger Delta to the benefit of the Niger Delta region.

“We, therefore, urge other well meaning Niger Deltans to focus on more opportunities that we deserve from the Federal Government, but not fighting or agitating against the contract given to our dogged, transparent and egalitarian believer of our society.”

The national coordinator of the group, Comrade Fiyebo G. Eperetei said in a statement, “If you ask me who deserve it?, I will tell you categorically that TOMPOLO deserve it One Hundred percent (100%), because he has the charistmas and capacity to carry every part of the region along.”

The youth leaders further elucidated that TOMPOLO is a very humble, focused and God fearing person who always fights for the interest of all as against personal aggranddizement and that has distinguished him as a true leader.

“In light of the aforementioned facts, the Arogbo Ijaw Youth Network (AIYN) reiterate its backing for the Four billion (N4bn) pipeline survanliance project approved by the Federal Government for TOMPOLO.”

MEANWHILE, the Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) noted that it would continue to support all government efforts aimed at improving security and enhancing the welfare of the citizens.

Comrade Isah Abubakar, President of the group in a statement issued, Tuesday in Kaduna, said, “Tompolo as a Nigerian, with private Company rendering security services deserves any favour he gets from the government to ensure the protection of pipelines.”

The group expressed dismay over a publication by a certain group, calling on the Federal Government to revoke the pipeline Surveillance Contract Awarded to Tompolo and others or risk massive protest.

The group, therefore, called on the security agencies to mount surveillance on the mischief makers trying to use its name and reputation to cause confusion in the country and ensure that they did not succeed in such misadventure.
