The Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has sent a strong warning to scholarship students under its scheme who may or have changed their Course of Study or School to another.
In a Press Release signed by the Head of Reintegration Department, Mr. Wilfred Musa, for the Interim Administrator, PAP, the office said it has noticed that some Amnesty scholarship students have changed their courses and schools without the awareness of PAP, stating that those students are “liable to lose their scholarship” and ask beneficiaries to strictly be warned.
“It has been brought to the attention of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) office that some PAP-sponsored students have transferred to another course or university without the written approval from the office.
“Please note that in line with the long-standing Formal Education policy of the office, any sponsored student who is found to have transferred to another course or university without approval from the office are liable to lose their scholarship.
“You are hereby notified for strict compliance going forward,” the statement reads.
