“Am not stingy but a prudent spender of our collective wealth” ~ Kemela Okara

Contrary to insinuation that he is stingy, Kemela Okara (Esq) , former Secretary to the state government has cleared the air that he is not stingy, rather a prudent spender of our common wealth for the benefit of all

Barr. Okara who was reacting to questions during an interactive session with journalists in Yenagoa, said ,he cannot afford to spend resources belonging to the general public for the benefit of a few, saying that is the reason few persons described him to be stingy.

On questioning, he said, he’s priority when elected as governor of Bayelsa state is to industrialized the state by attracting both foreign and local investors so as to create jobs for our teeming youths.

He promised to look into agriculture to also boost employment opportunisties, stressing that he intend to consolidate on the gains of the restoration government on the areas of education,infrastructure etc.

Continuing he promised to create a befitting state capital with massive housing construction that will be followed with street lightening,while he look into the issue of insecurity.

Speaking further, he promised to lighten up Yenagoa with massive expansion roads and improvement of other i.nfrastructure.
