NAIJA LIVE TV earlier Reported that, Wrenched from fearful jaws of death by Hon Peace Ntuk, the Supervisor for Health in Ikot Abasi LGA. the plight of Master Ubong Promise who was stigmatized as a witch and abandoned by his immediate family caught the attention of the Wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel who quickly dispatched #Team FEYReP on a rescue mission to Ikot abasi General Hospital were he was receiving treatment after he was rescued.
Master Ubong Promise who was Rescued by Hon. Peace Ntuk was transferred from the General Hospital Ikot Abasi to UUTH for proper medical attention and rehabilitation by the wife of the Governor of Akwa Ibom State.
NAIJA LIVE TV further reported that, Master Ubong Promise was recused After months of malnutrition, with mercilessly maltreatment from the wicked hands of the grand mother.
Today, It was a beautiful sight to behold as the “Back to School programme” of Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel, for children of Divine Children’s Home, Atan Offot, Uyo held.
This year’s edition was made special as a member of the Home, Barrister Bright Bassey, the first graduate of Law, was recieved by a proud mother, Her Excellency, after serving the nation in the NYSC scheme at Ebonyi State. Indeed Barrister Bassey has grown to become a role model to her siblings at the home.
Another hallmark of the evening was that of Master Destiny (Master Ubong Promise) who has been enrolled for the new academic session.
Recall that Destiny (Master Ubong Promise) was abandoned at an infant stage by his parents until Her Excellency through FEYReP came to his rescue.
Other children of the Home were also kitted by the governor’s wife for the new academic session with a charge for them to study hard.
