An Abuja-based legal practitioner, Pius Danba Pius, Esq., has given the General Manager, First Bank Holdings Plc a pre-action notice following an advert placed by the company on Thisday newspaper on July 2, 2020 publication.
Mr. Pius, in a letter he wrote through his counsel Ebikebuna Aluzu, Esq., says he is acting for himself and as the representative of other legal practitioners whose rights and privileges have been affected by the actions of First Bank Holdings Plc. Mr. Pius accused First Bank Holdings Plc of passing off and deceiving over one hundred and seventy million Nigerians that they now offer legal advice and services.
The lawyer is demanding for among other things an account on oath of all the Bank records of persons as well as money received in respect of the legal advice and services they have offered from when these services were first offered to date as well as remittance of the accounted legal fees to him.
