The Former Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Bayelsa state, Chief Rufus Abadi, has pulled out from the planned Pro-Wike Rally organized by the NEW ASSOCIATES to hold on the 12th of April 2025, in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital. The former PDP Chairman has also withdrawn his membership from the group.
Recall that Chief Rufus Abadi appeared on Arise TV few days ago to respond to questions as regards the need for the planned rally, explaining that it was not a protest but a rally to appreciate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Sons and daughters of Bayelsa state and ljaw extraction into prominent positions.
Though reasons for the new development is sketchy, NAlJA LIVE TV has confirmed that the former chairman has dropped his interest and dissociated himself from the group.
