…….Stay away from cultism, Police tell students
Three operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LSNC) were reportedly injured when suspected members of a secret cult, Eiye Fraternity, attacked their security post at Ojo area of the metropolis.
It was gathered that one Arije Akominasi was shot on his right leg, while Mumuni Olaniran was hacked with a machete on his forehead and other parts of his body, and Oluwaseun Adeyemi sustained injuries while scampering for safety.
It was gathered that the suspected cultists invaded the Ojo Command Post located along Ojo Jetty road on Saturday at about 2:30am, shooting sporadically.
A witness said several parts of the wall of the office were riddled with bullets.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ojo Division was said to have visited the scene for on the spot assessment at the early hours of the day.
