Senate President, Niger Delta Students Union Congratulates Winners of its Online Essay Competition

The Senate president, Niger Delta Students Union Government, Sen.Comr. Jimmy Ebi Success, has expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the participants, particularly the winners of the just concluded Essay competition.

While speaking to a correspondent of NAIJA LIVE TV, she explained that:

“The list of the acknowledged participants is very ready here, their scores and various States of origin. Assessment was on for a month hence the delay in the release of the results.”

She went further to express that compensations in cash has been given to the lucky winners:

“Money has been disbursed to the winners. But instead of the initially stipulated prizes, they were all given twenty thousand naira flat prizes.”

Not stopping there, she expressed her extreme gratitude to all human agents who made the competition a success.

“I appreciate the government of Bayelsa State, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Honourable Walton Liverpool, Ambassador Godknows Boladei Igali, The lecturers/examiners who did the assessment and all well-meaning Niger Deltans who supported me in one way or the another. May God continuously crown your efforts and prosper you.”

She finally concluded by dishing out words of appreciation and of encouragement to the winners and participants in general.

“To the participants, thank you all for participating. We pray for better opportunities to express ourselves and win beautiful prizes. To the winners, I hope this increases your drive for educational activities. I urge you all to remain committed to your studies. Note that we still have your details and will communicate you and ensure that you’re taken care of in subsequent programs.”
