JUST IN: Bauchi deputy gov, Gidado, resigns

The Deputy Governor Bauchi State, Nuhu Gidado, resigned on Wednesday.

He cited “waning enthusiasm for the job” as the reason for his resignation, in a letter of resignation he submitted to Governor Mohammed Abubakar.

Gidado thanked the governor and people of Bauchi for giving him the privilege to serve.
