Israel Sunny-Goli Unveils Legislative Plans For Brass/Nembe Federal Constituency

The House of Representatives member, representing Brass/Nembe Federal Constituency, Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli has set for himself a target that is aimed at improving the lives of his constituents.

The Federal lawmaker shall sponsor motions aimed at ensuring the dredging of Town Brass seashore/coastline, this is expected within his first 6 months in the National Assembly, similar issues in other communities, like Sangana in the Constituency will be subsequently addressed adequately too.

He shall also within the next six months sponsor 2 bills for the amendment of the existing laws of the Federal University, Otuoke and Federal Polytechnic Ekowe. These bills are aimed at establishing legally-backed campuses for Marine Engineering, Fisheries, etc in Nembe and Brass LGAs.

Nembe and Brass though some of the oldest local government areas in the state, yet are without any federal tertiary institutions in the state, Israel Sunny-Goli hopes to change the narrative in this regard, by ensuring the above mentioned campuses are established legally.

The Federal lawmaker said he would also welcome contributions from his constituents, as the task of bringing development closer to the people is a collective responsibility.
