Ijaw Youths Council Chairman Exposses Digimie Eldred, Accuses Him Of Attempted Fraud.

A FRAUDULENT IMPOSTOR IS ON THE PROWL

As earlier investigated and discovered by NAIJA LIVE TV the story of Pogoyon Digimie Eldred, who paraded himself as the Speaker of Ijaw Youths Council with the intention of milking funds from the NNPC, the Chairman of the Association has written to invalidate Eldred’s claims and propositions.

In a statement signed by Kennedy Olorogun, the Chairman, IYC Transition Implementation Committee and made available to NAIJA LIVE TV, the chairman made several revelations concerning the said impostor who paraded himself as what he is not, with the aim of amassing funds in the name of the Ijaw youths.

The letter reads:

“The self-imposed Acting National President of the Ijaw Youth Council ( IYC) Comr. Digimie Pongoyo and his co-travellers are on prowl. They have devised fraudulent schemes and initiatives to swindle prominently important government agencies and establishment.”

“Recently, they were caught by concerned citizens and individuals who noticed their fraudulent and devilish schemes. As gathered, Pogoyon Digimie Eldred and his cohorts had written to the management and authority of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, making threats and requesting for palliatives and financial resources in order not to blow up pipelines and flow stations which are critical national assests.”

The Chairman in his letter furthered that:

“Let it be clear, incisive and understandable too, that the said Digimie Pongoyo who is parading himself as AG. National President of the reverred IYC is NOT a Speaker nor a Parliamentarian of the IYC 4th National Mobile Parliament, following the March 5, 2020 Judgement of the Sagbama Division of the Bayelsa State High Court.”

“On my part, I have notified the security agencies of the nefarious activities of the said self-styled AG. National President. Notably too, these were the same people who destroyed the properties of the former governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson and other properties belonging to the State Government. In fact, with the failure of the security agencies to bring them to book, they are now emboldened to continue with their fraudulent and unethical activities.”

“I am using this medium to call on the security and intelligence community in the state and the country to, without further delay, arrest and prosecute these miscreants, in order to ensure that sanity prevails in the state and the country at large.”
