President Donald Trump has been impeached by the United States House of Representatives

President Donald J. Trump was impeached by the House of Representatives on a vote of 230-197-1 for the first article of impeachment (abuse of power) and 229-198-1 for the second article of impeachment (obstruction of Congress).

This is the third time in American history that the House has voted to impeach a sitting president.
