Bayelsa Stakeholders Forum Endorse David Lyon

As the race over who becomes the governorship candidate of the Bayelsa State All Progressives Congress (APC), continue to gather momentum, the Bayelsa Stakeholders Forum met and formally endorsed the candidacy of David Pereworimini Lyon.

The Bayelsa Stakeholders Forum, who gathered in Yenagoa on Monday, said after a critical assessment of all the APC governorship aspirants, “the Forum has come to a conclusion to support David Lyon because, he is a man who has been tested and trusted, and we can trust him with our people.”

General Counsel of the forum, Chief Alex Ekiotenne, described the candidacy of David Lyon as “a divine mandate, a man who God wants to use to transform Bayelsa State.”

“He is a good product and a good product is easy to sell. The youths in Bayelsa are yearning for a man like David Lyon. Bayelsans are hungry today, our communities are dirty because of bad governance. This has to change,” Chief Ekiotenne said.

He stated that David Lyon is a man who takes care of pipelines that criss-cross Niger Delta and in particular, Bayelsa State. “There is peace in these oil producing communities because of him.

Chief Ekiotenne said that the forum would ensure that David Lyon emerges candidate of the APC in the forthcoming party primary.
