Akwa Ibom Clergy empowers women with wrappers and cash gifts at birthday

ONNA – Akwa Ibom Clergy, Apostle Elijah Jack of His Divine Redeemed World Ministries, Mkpok in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has empowered 1000 women in Ikot Akpatek with wrappers and cash gifts.

The General Overseer was engaging the women in the frenzy to mark his birthday saying that, the gesture was to encourage uniformity and unity among them.

He expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and divine protection adding that, “God is the reason we all gathered here.

Apostle used the celebration to thank his spouse, Deborah, children and those that have contributed to his success in God’s Vineyard over the years.

“I am not giving because I have it plenty or because I want to show off; I am only trying to give back to my community.

“I’m doing this because of the love I have for my community and, it is always a thing of joy to appear in a uniform, which signifies togetherness, unity love and oneness and I’m glad that, you accepted the token satisfactorily.

“We must not relent to pray for Nigeria and for a peaceful election come 2023”, he added.

Mrs Esther Joseph from Ekpuk Akpoudo in Ikot Akpatek village, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries expressed happiness for God using the man of God to bless them.

She said, the event was her first time to receive such a gift and prayed God to bless him and his family with abundant love, peace happiness and prosperity.

Also speaking, the family Head of Ekpuk Obio in Ikot Akpatek, Chief Godwin Udua Edeminang described the celebration as the first of its kind in the area adding that, it has brought unity, love and togetherness to the land.

He said, the birthday celebration of Apostle Jack has caused people of Ikot Akpatek to come together and share love and urged other Nigerians to emulate him
